The Jamia's Fifth Sheikhul Hadith

The Jamia's fifth Sheikhul Hadith was the distinguished scholar Allama Yar Muhammad Sahib (rahimahullah), one of the foremost students of Sheikhul Islam Allama Syed Hussain Ahmad Madani (rahimahullah) and Allama Yusuf Bannuri (rahimahullah).

Yusuf Bannuri (rahimahullah) granted him a personally-written special certification (sanad) in the science of Hadith. After completing his higher studies at Darul Uloom Deoband and Binnuri Town, he began his teaching career at Jiri Madrasa, one of Bangladesh's oldest and most historic institutions. He went on to teach at Babunagar and Nazirhat Madrasas, and then joined Jamia Islamia Obaidia as a teacher, where he rendered long service to the science of Hadith. At one point he served a full year as this Jamia's Sheikhul Hadith. He passed away in 2014. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.
