The Jamia's Sixth Sheikhul Hadith

The Jamia's sixth Sheikhul Hadith was the prolific author and Ustazul Asatiza, Hazrat Allama Sheikh Ahmad Sahib (may Allah preserve him), who joined this Jamia in 1427 Hijri. His father was the late Keramat Ali. He was born on 15 January 1950 in Mirerkhil village, Hathazari. From beginning to end he studied at Jamia Ahlia Darul Uloom Moinul Islam, Hathazari. Among his notable teachers were Abul Hasan (author of Tanzimul Ashtat), the late Maulana Abdul Bari (rahimahullah), Hazrat Maulana Abdul Qayyum (rahimahullah), Hafezur Rahman (rahimahullah), Mufti Ahmadul Haq (rahimahullah), and Hazrat Maulana Ahmad Shafi Sahib (rahimahullah).

He taught for nearly 35 years at Ummul Madaris Darul Uloom Moinul Islam, Hathazari, and thereafter served as this Jamia's Sheikhul Hadith for 11 years.
