The Jamia's Current Sheikhul Hadith

After the sixth Sheikhul Hadith, the Jamia's current Muhtamim, Pir-e-Kamel Allama Shah Salah Uddin Nanupuri (may Allah preserve him), was appointed as the Jamia's Sheikhul Hadith. Because of Hazrat Pir Sahib's many institutional and da'wah commitments, though he holds this post, he personally teaches only the opening and closing lessons of Sahih Bukhari. The remainder of Sahih Bukhari is taught in full by the Jamia's Sheikhul Hadith and head of the higher Hadith research department — a renowned Hadith scholar of the subcontinent, the worthy son and trusted khalifa of Allama Shah Jamir Uddin (rahimahullah), and a prolific author in his own right — Hazratul Hajj Allama Mufti Qutbuddin Nanupuri Sahib (may Allah preserve him). We pray to Allah, the Almighty, for his long life, that we may continue to benefit ever more from Hazrat's knowledge. Amin.
