Mutafarriqa (Short-Course) Department

Students who join the Jamia from school, college, or university — recognising the merit of religious knowledge and seeking the fortune of becoming an Alim — as well as those who have already completed Hifz of the Holy Qur'an, are taught in this department, in just three years, everything through Jamat-e-Panjum — that is, the first seven years of the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum. They then move to the Kitab department and complete Dawra-e-Hadith through the normal course of study. In this way, students are able to complete the full twelve-year curriculum in only seven years.
